What we collect

MoneyCal uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymous usage data — pages visited, time on page, browser type, and general geographic region (country/city level). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.

We do not collect your name, email address, financial figures you enter into calculators, or any personally identifiable information. All calculator math runs entirely in your browser and is never sent to our servers.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visits and sessions. These cookies do not store personal data. You can disable them at any time through your browser settings or by using a browser extension that blocks analytics tracking (such as uBlock Origin or the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on).

Advertising

MoneyCal may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings. We do not control the data practices of Google's advertising systems — please review Google's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-party services

This site uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Data retention

Google Analytics retains anonymized usage data for 14 months by default. We do not store any user data on our own servers.

Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under GDPR including the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Because we only hold anonymized analytics data through Google, requests should be directed to Google. For California residents, Google Analytics data is collected in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of MoneyCal after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
